eCase home care app showing a daily schedule and client details

Background

eCase is Australia’s leading digital solution for the clinical, financial and operational needs of aged care, retirement living and disability services. The eCase app is a core tool used daily by care workers to manage client records, appointments, and essential tasks. Visually, the app’s look and feel had become dated, and key tasks did not have the prominence they needed. Health Metrics engaged us to update the information architecture and design of the app to improve day-to-day efficiency and usability.

What we did

  • Defined the key problems to solve with the eCase team

  • Mapped out key workflows

  • Planned a new and improved content structure around top tasks

  • Created home screen options as stimulus for user testing

  • Designed screens for 12 different workflows

  • Produced clickable prototypes for easy review by stakeholders and for presenting at their annual customer conference

It’s clean and not too busy. The focus is on my schedule
